~Easter At Rainbow Bridge~
It's Easter at The Bridge
and a beautiful warm day,
perfect for all of us to send
our blessings to families far away.
The Easter Bunny arrived early
with a big basket of colorful eggs,
little chicks a' popping out
so cute with their very long legs!
The birds are singing a pretty song
there's a crowd of fish in the water,
we watched a mama swan paddle by
with her new baby daughter!
There's a big fat frog on a lily pad
'been croaking ribit throughout the day,
it's awful, it's gotta stop, before he drives us mad!
It's time for us to gather
for the big Easter egg hunt,
we'll take care not to eat too many
or all night long we will grunt!
Before we go, there's one more thing to say,
have a very Happy Easter, and a blessed day.
