~From Me To You~

Just checking in with a special "hi,"

from The Rainbow Bridge way high in the sky.

It's fun, fun, fun all during the day,

with lots of new friends to romp and play.

We run and tumble through the grass,

laying down in the flowers when we've run out of gas.

Today I got the coolest things,

a beautiful pair of angel wings.

I fly like a bird from cloud to cloud,

landing at times to join the crowd.

We dive and soar, spinning through the air,

and sometimes have races as a pair.

Swimming in a pretty blue lake at the end of the day,

we get rides from big fishes and don't have to pay!

Nightime brings the most awesome sight,

the "man in the moon," and twinkling stars so bright.

The angels sprinkle us with their golden dust,

while we laugh and giggle until we bust.

So you see I am happy and doing well,

my story to you I had to tell.

Always keep me in your heart,

as when you do never will we part.

Thinking of you and I wanted to say,

thanks for making each day special,

in your loving and caring way.

Your Mom and Dad taught you how to take care of my needs,

you did a great job doing all your good deeds.

Birthdays were special, and holidays too,

'cuz I got to spend them all with you.

The best gifts you gave me, were those that were free,

the hugs and the kisses, and special words just for me.

Together we learned what real friendship is,

it was about what was our's, not mine or his.

Think of me often as I will you,

because that's what true friends always do.
